Some things cannot be changed, and it takes time to understand and process this. My needs and personality have changed drastically due to the decompensation. Initially, it was frightening not to recognize myself anymore.
Old behaviors, interests, dreams, and my profession as an art teacher are no longer options. But every crisis offers opportunities for change.

I focus my energy on the latter.
